Therapy for People With Cancer and Their Loved Ones
Cancer touches us all eventually. I have experience helping people recently diagnosed, those in treatment, those in survivorship mode, and those facing the end of life. You may be seeking help at the start of this experience but if not, I want you to know it’s common to reach out for therapy after the dust settles, sometimes years later.
When a person is diagnosed with cancer their loved ones can be affected too. Fear, anger, sadness, confusion, and even feeling numb are normal emotions and each person copes differently. Children and teens often have different needs than adults and may process the experience differently.
I know that every story is different and I look forward to hearing yours!
I am proud to be listed on BMT Infonet’s Mental Health Directory. If you are looking for a therapist with transplant, CAR T-cell therapy, and/or GVHD experience, and we are not a good fit for some reason, make sure to check it out!
